A new book on Sofia Areal’s drawings has just been published by Documenta and Fundação Carmona e Costa. The book has texts by: José Luís Porfírio, Jorge Silva Melo, Ricardo Escarduça and Martim Brion.

Areal’s exhibitions in Fundação Carmona e Costa and in Pedro Oliveira Gallery are both ongoing and will carry on till December.

Sofia Areal’s exhibition in the Carmona e Costa Foundation opens on Friday, the 17th of September at 18h00.

October Sofia Areal will be showing in Pedro Oliveira Gallery in Porto

Until the end of August the exhibition ” Livros de Artista de Artistas Mulheres” in Gulbenkian Foundation will be on show.

In September Sofia Areal will have a solo exhibition of drawing in Fundação Carmona e Costa in Lisbon.

Sofia Areal and Sérgio Pombo will be in dialogue in an exhibition in Teatro Municipal da Guarda, the exhibition is organised by the Museu Municipal da Guarda.
